Get Your Game On

Baseball, soccer, tennis, and much more are big parts of the summer calendar in the communities of the 1000 Islands & St. Lawrence River Region.

Home Runs

Brockville has long been the centre of baseball in the area, thanks to Brockville Little League and the famous Brockville Bunnies, which offers one of the best U19 baseball clubs in the province. Two Bunnies grads have gone to the Major Leagues, while many others have been recruited by the baseball programs of major US schools. If you love the American National Pastime, there is no better place to relocate than our region.

Score Goals

Soccer is another highlight. Brockville Minor Soccer runs a full schedule of house and club play in the summer, along with indoor sessions in the fall and winter at the Stingers indoor recreational facility right in the middle of the city. The Prescott and District Soccer Association is also one of the biggest in the area, with well over 500 children taking to the pitch each summer for full league action.

Tennis For All

Tennis is offered both in Brockville and Prescott. The Prescott Tennis Club is one of the best in Eastern Ontario, thanks to its superb location right on the St. Lawrence River in Centennial Park and its always active roster of club members from across the area. Regular events, lessons, and special programming are offered, and the club is always on the hunt for new members.
