First Class Golf

Few areas in all of Canada can lay claim to the many and varied golfing options in the 1000 Islands & St. Lawrence River Region. From your new home here, you will never be more than minutes away from a first-class golfing experience on courses that suit all needs, budgets, and skill levels.

Minutes From Town

Starting in Brockville, you have the option of the luxurious Brockville Country Club with its driving range and PGA Academy instruction programs. Sunnidell Golf Club just east of the city is a great par-three course for beginners and those looking to sharpen up their short game.

Scenic Views

The Prescott Golf Club sits right on top of the St. Lawrence River, so it boasts beautiful scenic views of one of the world’s greatest waterways along with 18 well-manicured and challenging holes. Prescott’s club also features instruction programs, league play, a driving range, and an attached clubhouse that also serves as home to the acclaimed Verandah Restaurant.

Overlooking The River

Just a short drive west from Brockville is the breathtaking Smuggler’s Glen Golf Club in Lansdowne along the tremendous natural beauty of the 1000 Islands Parkway. The historic Glen House Resort is attached, making this a perfect place for a golfing getaway that also includes one of the best ways in the region to experience the truly spectacular splendour of the 1000 Islands.

Historic Clubs

The private Grenadier Island Country Club is also nearby, with its equally stunning 1000 Islands setting making you feel like you’re golfing through a slice of paradise. And a trip just a few minutes into New York State takes you to the Thousand Islands Golf Club on Wellesley Island, home to superb golf on two courses since 1894 (the aptly named Old Course is one of the oldest golf clubs in the United States). The gondola canals of the Lake Course that date back to the construction of adjacent Boldt Castle on Heart Island have to be experienced to be believed.
